All organizations in Tijuana, and the whole of Mexico, especially those on the border, are suffering greatly from a decrease in American volunteers. The American volunteers that could be coming are also missing out on a life changing experience. An experience that could help them to understand a culture that is geographically so close to our own, and a culture that has a lot to give to our own. There is so much to be learned from sharing with our neighbors, south of the border. We are all missing out on a huge opportunity to share, and to learn.
